**Key performance areas**

The Competency Development Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the execution and administration of staff competency development programs and / or activities in accordance with the detected needs and with the aim of raising the performance level of the workforce by satisfying the needs, current and future of the company's human resources and business needs.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that such plans are defined based on the strategy of the Business Areas and and/or Divisions in compliance with the applicable Laws in one or more countries and Standards in which Sandvik is certified.

**About**the** position**:

- Manage and lead the implementation and evaluation of development plans and programs, such as succession planning development activities execution, learning, programs and skills development.
- Analyze staff development needs in order to provide programs that enhance their knowledge, skills, and performance.
- Coordinate and ensure the Skills Development process aligned to the Corporate Strategy, applicable laws, Standards in all types of areas of competence.
- Develop standard training pedagogical models, as well as their management and administration
- Provide support and suggestions for employee skills development resources and programs, or externally recommend programs provided, that meet the needs of individuals and are consistent with the general need of the organization
- Advise employees on the organization's development policies and programs.
- Generate periodic reports to the HR Management detailing the activities, improvement opportunities and indicators of the area.
- Review with the HRBP / Human Resources Manager the local strategy of Competency Development
- Prepare the Training Plan for some type of approval and if so, guarantee the execution in terms of legality, time and quality.
- Ensure compliance with the KPIs for the development of competencies and the goals established by HR and the strategy of the business area
- Act as an instructor or facilitator when necessary.
- Lead the Skills Development team in operational base.

**Profile**:

- Career: Degree of verifiable study in HR or Engineering with Magister in pedagogy and / or similar at bachelor, master or specialization level,
- 3 years of experience working in Skills Development in multinational companies (mining or automotive) in an External Standardization environment.
- Knowledge of Legal Requirements regarding the training regulations
- Instructor Skills
- Advanced English
- Experience in Operational areas of Service in Maintenance Area providing service to clients.

**Requirements**:
High availability to travel, to visit the different mining units, high capacity to adapt to the mining environment,

Personal qualities stories such as leadership, integrity, customer focus, sense of urgency and delivery of results.
