Our Santiago office is looking for a **Senior Project Architect **to join our growing operations. This position will support our Engineering and Design Operations for multi-discipline projects in various industries including rail, stations and transportation facilities, water/wastewater treatment plants, energy, solid waste, food and agricultural, environmental and other industrial buildings.
- Review architectural or engineering plans, specifications and contract documents to ensure compliance with government codes, laws and regulations.
- Advises Subcontractors on the interpretation of plans, recommends changes, when necessary, with an ability to provide added value in a design build environment.
- Independently prepares and/or review preliminary and detail designs in a 3D environment, working drawings, specifications and provides input on cost estimates related to the project.
- Provides technical expertise in development or review of policies and procedures in relation to architectural structures and systems and construction/safety codes.
- Works with customers and Clients to gather facts, defines design and space planning problems, conceptualize possible solutions and secure approvals of proposals.
- Provides advice and develop design documents to initiate and modify architectural, interior design and space planning solutions.
- Experience in multi-disciplinary reviews and coordination within a 3D environment to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to project requirements and client/company standards.

**Required skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- 10+ years of experience in architectural modelling and detailing with proven experience with large and complex BIM project delivery.
- Technically competent in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
- Skilled in English oral and written communication.
- Expert knowledge of Revit or similar BIM modelling software with a proven ability to manage models and perform clash detection.
- Industrial/rail and transit (stations & facilities) project design experience is an asset.
- Experience with International Building Codes (USA / Canada) is an asset.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to work in a complex environment often driven by project deadlines.
- Works well in a team environment.
