Application Specialist

IntelliSense.io has a great opportunity for a talented professional with a background in Mining Engineering, Geology or Technology/Product Development in mining systems to join our Product team as Application Specialist.

As an **_Application Specialist_**, you could have a great impact to our mission as you will be responsible for owning and managing specific Optimization-as-a-Service (OaaS) Applications in IntelliSense.io's Digital Mine product suite.

You will work closely with developers, end users, and business managers to ensure that the product solves the right problems and delivers the right value.

Responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by an agile software development team, in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of the product.

**Responsibilities**:

Your day-to-day would include:

- Product strategy and thought leadership
- Conducting market research and competitor analysis
- Conference proposals and attendance
- New partnerships to expand the Applications portfolio
- Product roadmapping and determining product specifications
- Overseeing UI designs with designers
- Guiding the data science team with contextual guidance
- Guiding field engineers on how to implement their Product(s) at client sites
- Reporting short-term and long-term product reports
- Assisting with sales by providing technical assistance on proposals
- Creating Application marketing and onboarding content
- Planning release schedules in line with customer requirements
- User training and product demoing

**Skills***:
To be successful in your role as Application Specialist you would need to demonstrate:

- Understanding of mining operations
- Software product management and development
- Team leadership, business and requirements analysis
- Technology pricing, strategy, and planning
- Competitor analysis
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and time management

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years' experience in mining operations
- Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or Mining Technology
- Spanish and English proficiency (Portuguese a bonus)
- Knowledge of Agile principles a bonus
