Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience managing operations (e.g., security, logistics, facilities), with experience managing a geography dispersed workforce.
- Ability to travel internationally (throughout Latin America) on a regular basis.
- Ability to speak and write in Spanish, English, and Portuguese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or equivalent certifications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment dependent on systems and technology.
- Ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive information with excellent judgment.

Deliver and operate a secure technical infrastructure through a comprehensive compliance, security, and risk management program. Google’s Data Center Compliance, Security, and Risk Management (CSRM) team is a dedicated organization chartered with protecting the people and assets of Google’s global infrastructure. CSRM consists of professionals who leverage advanced security systems, dedicated guarding forces, as well as excellent risk management and compliance framework programs to support the entirety of Google Data Centers.
As a Data Center Area Security Manager, you drive the outcomes of key data center infrastructure through managerial contributions. You'll develop and lead programs that align with regional or global strategy in order to improve site efficiency. You'll collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to discuss project prioritization, resource allocation, and/or partner with industry leaders. You will demonstrate the behaviors expected of all Googlers as captured in Google's cultural pillars, and you will engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture, making Google a better place to work.

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the daily operations of vendors providing services including security, training, and risk management for a cross-functional technical infrastructure locations.
- Manage escalations for defined security related incidents with uncertain solutions at multiple technical infrastructure locations.
- Drive security work to ensure several technical infrastructure locations are in compliance with all regional governmental and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Develop cross-functional strategies to improve efficiency and maintain an appropriate security posture.
- Perform risk assessments and provide feedback to design teams for a variety of technical infrastructure locations.
