If you are looking for your next role to have a direct impact on the world, we have an excellent career opportunity for you to join Caterpillar’s Global Construction & Infrastructure (GCI) team as a Product Marketing & Application Specialist for Rigid Frame Trucks in the Americas South region

**What you will do**:

- Support and manage customer site assessments and production studies to help identify the best rigid frame hauling solution for their needs.
- Develop commercial strategies including root cause and corrective action analysis to support your region's PINS objectives for Load & Haul products.
- Prepare introduction plans for new products (NPI) for the Americas South regions. Monitor progress on all elements of NPI and initiate corrective action. Develop and maintain regional training activities in support of new product launches for these regions.
- Build and maintain up to date knowledge about competitive systems and machines and be able to promote Caterpillar value advantage to aid selling activities vs. each competitor.
- Participate on a Standing Team for “market strategy development.” Provide input to Strategy development - and assist in deployment.
- Be the primary conduit of technical information to and from the Product Groups, for Rigid Frame Trucks in support of key regional inputs & in development of business cases for the Unmet Customer Needs process.

**Negotiating**:Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.

**Basic requirements**:

- University degree preferably in engineering, business or marketing.
- English and Portuguese Pre Advanced
- Mining or quarry industry expertise
- Previous experience of working in a multinational company and collaborating with a global team
- Commercial experience involving dealer and/or customer facing positions

**Additional information**:

- Travel: requires 50% travel across Mexico, Central & South America. As part of a global team will also travel for team meetings into other regions.
