**Position Summary**
Global Hire is seeking compassionate and motivated Chilean nurses who wish to build a long-term career in the United States with our partner hospitals and long-term care facilities in Massachusetts, New Jersey, South Carolina, and other growing locations.
This opportunity offers two structured professional pathways:
- CNA-to-RN PathwayYou begin working as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in a hospital or long-term care setting while preparing for and sitting the NCLEX-RN in the U.S. Once you pass NCLEX and obtain your RN license, you may transition into an RN role, depending on performance and facility needs.
- Direct RN PathwayYou prepare for and sit the NCLEX-RN from Chile, obtain your RN license before traveling, and then start directly as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a U.S. facility.
In all cases, you will provide patient

**Key Responsibilities**
Healthcare Practitioners will contribute to patient/resident care according to their current license (CNA or RN), the unit they work in (for example, Med/Surg, ICU, Long-Term Care), and the facilitys protocols. Responsibilities may include:
**Across all settings (CNA / RN-level, depending on license)**:
- Assisting patients/residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, mobility, toileting).
- Providing direct patient care in line with care plans, physician orders, and nursing team instructions.
- Monitoring and reporting changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral condition to the nurse in charge.
- Supporting patient/resident comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in medical records and facility systems.
- Following infection control, safety, and regulatory standards at all times.
**Med/Surg / Hospital roles (RN Pathway)**:
- Performing comprehensive assessments, administering medications, and carrying out treatments as per physician orders.
- Managing multiple patients with varying acuity, prioritizing care needs, and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Coordinating with physicians, therapists, case managers, and ancillary staff to ensure safe and efficient discharges and transfers.
**ICU / Higher-acuity roles (RN Pathway)**:
- Monitoring patients with higher acuity, including frequent assessments and continuous vigilance of vital signs.
- Responding to clinical deterioration, following facility protocols and working closely with the medical team.
- Providing emotional support to patients and families in critical situations.
**Long-Term Care roles (CNA / RN)**:
- Building long-term therapeutic relationships with residents and their families.
- Supporting residents with chronic conditions, aiming to maintain functional ability, comfort, and quality of life.
- Participating in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary discussions about resident care goals.
**Career Pathways & Growth**
**Pathway 1 - CNA to RN in the U.S.**
- Start working as a CNA in a hospital or long-term care facility.
- Prepare for the NCLEX-RN while living and working in the U.S.
**Pathway 2 - Direct RN from Chile**
- Prepare for and sit the NCLEX-RN from Chile.
- Once you pass NCLEX and secure your RN license, you start directly as an RN at a partner facility.
**Long-term vision - From H-1B1 to EB-3**
- Global Hire will support you with career planning, licensing steps, and immigration coordination throughout the process.
**Compensation reference**
- Initial compensation depends on role (CNA vs. RN), state, facility, and shift.
- Once in an RN role, the typical annual salary ranges approximately between USD $65,000 and $75,000, depending on experience, shift differentials, and facility policies.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (Licenciatura en Enfermería).
- Valid Chilean passport.
- Valid professional nursing license in Chile (Título y Cédula profesional).
- Chilean nationality (eligible for H-1B1 visa classification).
- Proficient English (spoken and written) - mandatory for both the visa process and workplace communication.
- Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and teamwork in patient care.
- Strong motivation to grow professionally (from CNA to RN and, over time, from H-1B1 to a potential EB-3 pathway).
