Compliance Analyst I

SAN RAMON- Robert Half is seeking a Compliance Analyst I to join the Strategic Accounts (SA) Compliance team. The team is responsible for designing, implementing, and conducting SA compliance audit processes within the SA department. The Compliance Analyst identifies, researches, reconciles, and/or reports any deviations in Salesforce based on terms prescribed in the SA Contracts. The Compliance Analyst will review audit reports and communicate deviations from the contract terms to the Branch Offices and/or SA Vice Presidents for reconciliation. The analyst will provide audit results and recommendations to the SA management team and/or the SA Services team.

Specific responsibilities include:

- On a daily basis, review key audit/exception reports to ensure compliance with specific contract terms. Communicate non-compliant items to Branch Representatives for reconciliation or Client approval. Communicate results and key trends as it relates to non-compliance with management. These audit/exception reports include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Pricing (Rate Card, Markup, GM%, Total Cost)
- Overtime pricing audit
- Sales Rep Credit (SA SPID)
- Billing Details
- Statement of Work
- Client requested audits of onboarding requirements
- Internal audits requested by various stakeholders
- Identify, research, reconcile and/or report any deviations in Salesforce based on terms prescribed in the SA Contracts.
- Conduct operational audits to ensure contract compliance regarding background checks, drug screening, employment verification, and any other necessary areas. Log volume of weekly audit reports on team matrix to track audit volume fluctuations.
- Assist in internal reviews of new contract rollouts.
- Train and guide Branch Representatives on contract requirements using the contract summaries posted on RH’s intranet.
- Adjust Job Order details based on contract terms and process Payroll Billing Adjustments.
- Collaborate with various teams such as Contract Implementation, Payroll, Billing and SA Services.
- Maintain exception approvals in Salesforce and Excel exception logs.
- Search various sources for exceptions, notes, and other documentation during the audit process.
- Analyze data and report trends, unusual deviations, and any other insights.
- Assist management in special projects, as needed.
- Cross-train in all audits and any other tasks and responsibilities. As needs arise, provide support to and/or cross-train with the Content and Data Systems team, who manage SA’s intranet and eDocs program.
- Use Excel on a regular basis to pull reports, audit and analyze data using formulas, pivot tables and any other data manipulation.
- Qualifications:

- High School diploma. Associates degree desired.
- Intermediate Excel skills preferred. Knowledge of formulas, formatting, and pivot tables desired.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Problem Solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Attention to detail when comparing, entering, and manipulating data in Excel.
- Ability to follow company documentation and audit standards.
