**The Work You Will Do**

The Business Analysts facilitates the ‘making sense’ of a problem domain by enabling teams to articulate information, explore items under discussion and converge towards a clear and common outcome.

The BA Role at Sovos within the VAT Line of Business, execute impact analysis and product assessment, as regular task, to determine and communicate the impact of fiscal regulations into our global compliance solutions.

**More specifically, you will**:

- Deeply understand the solutions Sovos offers, global business flows and needs. Understand how tax regulations impact our products and generate user stories to comply with those legal mandates.
- Performs Product Discovery, Impact analysis and support to the implementation.
- Support products in use by diagnosing and resolving issues and also participate in initiatives to improve processes, standards and practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Software Engineers, QA, and other technical staff to ensure our internal and external systems are operating properly.
- Support PMs and POs in the prioritization and roadmaps elaboration.
- BA Provides:

- **To the Development**, clarity over the business needs adding details that help the Development Team to facilitate their understanding.
- **To the Business**, clarity over the development feedback to facilitate their understanding so they can evaluate and plan based on solid and accurate estimation in terms of time and functionalities.
- **To the Stakeholders**, an assessment that allows different stakeholders to evaluate and plan the next steps in terms of business and market decision

**What We Need From You**
- IT background
- English Intermediate/advance
- Able to distinguish actual versus expected results.
- Able to document using different tools, sources, diagrams and techniques.
- User Story Writing
- Experience or at least understanding about working within any Agile methodology framework.
- Able to understand Data Base basic concepts and to run simple queries.
- Client Facing.
- Plus: eInvoicing Flow and **Chile** tax regulations
- Plus: Product Discovery and Impact analysis.
