The Project Manager is responsible for managing delivery of medium to low scale projects and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, adhere to expected quality standards and within budget. The Project Manager will be expected to manage the production of required deliverables; use of resources; planning, monitoring & maintaining project plans; managing project risks (including the development of contingency plans); and ensuring work is not overlooked nor duplicated. The Project Manager is expected to also lead activities directly on small projects executed locally in the country. The Project Manager gets to face a lot of exposure to branch leaders, getting to show results and insight about the project's performance. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is a must
- Experience within a related industry is a must (Banking, Insurance, Financial Services or related).
- Project implementation with proven track record is essential
- Strong English language skills and conversational Spanish and Portuguese a plus
- Six Sigma Process Excellence disciplines are a plus
- Captive financing experience a plus
- Has a solid understanding of the overall business and corporate objectives and works under broad project direction with the ability to self-define specific tasks
- Excels at administering and coordinating groups of individuals by promoting teamwork, delegating tasks, resolving conflict, and setting goals
- Communicates effectively at all levels in written correspondence and in live settings utilizing relevant presentation tools and techniques
- Ability to stay on task by managing time and prioritizing responsibilities to maximize productivity and minimize distractions in key project areas
- Manage risks by predicting and creating solutions to issues before they arise
- Understanding of basic accounting principles to ensure projects remain within budgetary parameters
- Takes a hands-on approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken
- Creating and delivering effective presentations
- Comprehensive PC based tools knowledge (particularly Planview Workfront, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
