For the new Andean Cluster, we are looking for our Portfolio Manager.

**This role can be based in Quito, Ecuador or en Santiago de Chile**

The Portfolio Manager will support the product portfolio strategies in countries as assigned in the New Andean Cluster (Ecuador, Chile and distribution markets). Research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas, and gather information to determine potential sales of a new products for different markets.

Support the countries in the cluster to develop appropriate marketing and commercial campaigns for new product launches. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.

Evaluate, in conjunction with country organizations, the company’s actual portfolio, identify and research and recommend new opportunities, based on a cost, risks, impacts and benefits analysis, in order to recommend and define the best portfolio approach to support the company’s future objectives.

Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution and use it to forecast sales for new products to be launched in each country across the region.

Gather information and data to expand local licensing opportunities in the Region. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.

Seek and provide information to help the company determine their position in the marketplace. Work closely with the country organizations to research, identify and execute both in
- and out-distribution opportunities.

Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.

Utilize a portfolio management system for analysis and recommendation of existing and future portfolio characteristics and needs.

Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature. Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.

Forecast and track marketing and sales trends, analyzing collected data. Attend staff conferences to provide management with information and proposals concerning the promotion, distribution, design, and pricing of company products or services.

Work with the national organizations to research, identify, evaluate and execute commercial opportunities including possible product acquisitions and licensing deals.

Participate in the preparation of the yearly submission plan process coordinating with country organization and Global functions. Ensure submission plan is implemented in all countries by tracking submissions and providing support to Global functions as well as country organizations when needed.

Keep Regional SLT informed of progress of submission plans as well as alignment with regional strategy.

Support Regional BD&L team by indicating product needs that cannot be met via internal development projects as needed. Collaborate with both Regional & Local Portfolio Management teams to select and prioritize BD&L projects.

Provide input in the negotiation and structure of in-licensing deals and take part in drafting of contracts as required. Ensure that commercially viable new products are continually adopted into the new product pipeline by having a well-structured process to allocate new development projects.

Work Experience & Skills

~ Experience in pharma industry or simimlar (medical devices, etc)
