Primary Functions:
- Create eLearning scripts and storyboards using fundamental instructional design principles.- Create eLearning lessons and support tools using Adobe Captivate- Extract relevant slides/information from eLearning to create learning support tools- Extract relevant icons/buttons with verbiage from eLearning to create learning support tools- Edit/Adjust images for eLearning and Job Aids using a graphic editor- Author verbiage and edit images to develop Job Aids- Extract relevant material from eLearning to develop demonstrations for future potential clientele- Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the training- Create and maintain client eLearning templates- Prepare eLearning for final publication to an LMS or Intranet site- Perform other jobs in the related area as requested
Competencies:
- Must have expert practical Adobe Captivate experience creating eLearning content, troubleshooting, and able to suggest automating current eLearning content.- Must have excellent technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex information to Physicians, RNs, and healthcare support staff- Must have excellent technical graphics editing skills using TechSmith SnagIt, Adobe Photoshop, or similar graphics editing software-
- Ability to develop classroom curriculum, job-aids, and eLearning content using the ADDIE methodology- Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook- Ability to write effective instructional text for curriculum, audio scripts for eLearning voice-overs, and eLearning content- BA degree in instructional design, educational technology, or similar field- Self-motivated and able to self-manage required in this remote (work from home) position- Must have excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
