Mainstream has raised more than €1.6bn in project finance to date and employs over 200 staff across six continents. **Summary of Role**: The Senior Procurement Specialist will report to the Procurement Manager located in Chile. This role will Coordinate the purchasing and tracking of goods and services for all AMSA operating and corporate functions in a timely and cost-effective way (in accordance with appropriate quality standards and specifications) and will drive the purchasing process within AMSA business including adherence to approved policy and procedures. The role will build and develop relationships with all suppliers and screen, evaluate and select key business partners, while identifying opportunities to lower costs and secure agreements with suppliers through active negotiation, managing key supplier relationships and using the combined purchasing power of Mainstream Latam affiliates. In addition, this function will support our Development, Construction, Operation and Community Development departments with key local contracts throughout the lifecycle of the projects and will support central procurement activities and knowledge-sharing across the group. **The key responsibilities of the role comprise the following**: - Receive purchase requests for goods and services from the Business Owner and obtain quotations in accordance with company policy and communicate quotations to the Business Owner. - Assisting the Units to provide the sourcing strategy. - Coordinate and planning with the Business Owner tender processes. - Manage and monitor Compliance in purchasing activities with suppliers in accordance with company policy. - Provide guidance on contractual matters preparing Tender Documents. - Maintain contractual records and documentation during the tender processes pre-contract award. - Coordinate contractual insurance requirements and ensure wider finance and risk requirements (e.g. foreign exchange exposure) are addressed. - Track Purchasing activity until completion. - Assisting the Procurement Manager with contract preparation and negotiation. - Manage revision and quality of procurement documents (drawings, specification, standard, etc.) and integrating lessons learned into Employer’s Requirements. - Innovation of procurement techniques to enable more competitive costings. - Implement Technology tracking solutions for tender processes. - Assisting the Procurement Manager with updating and maintenance of procurement operating procedures, control document, procurement indicators and suppliers’ costs database. **What we require?** **_ Education and Experience_** - Degree in Engineering or Business Administration. - Approximately 5-6 years including Strong purchase experience, contract and tender management ability and understanding of contracting methodologies. - Excellent written and oral communications skills. - Strong coordination and negotiation skills. - Ability to use Microsoft software as well as specialist software packages such as MS Word, Excel, Project, MS Dynamics 365 and SharePoint. - Ability to use Sourcing Software’s. - Fluency in English; fluency in other languages considered an advantage. **What we offer?** We offer you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization, a diverse workplace with regards to gender, age and cultural background in a growing market in a fast-paced industry.
