**About Safebox LLC**:
Safebox LLC provides strategic IT leadership, robust security, and operational excellence tailored specifically for mid-market enterprises ($150M-$2B revenue). We seek a hands-on yet strategically minded **Accounts Payable Associate (English-speaking; remote - based in Santiago Chile)** to work with our California-based agriculture client. This person will be responsible for processing high volume purchase order invoices, which includes 3 way matching, working with internal buyers and external vendors to resolve pricing and/or quantity variances.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately codes vendor invoices and routes them to the appropriate managers for approval.
- Enters approved invoices into the ERP system, verifying accuracy and correcting any discrepancies.
- Ensures vendor payment terms align with those recorded in the system.
- Reviews vendor statements regularly and resolves outstanding invoice issues.
- Monitors the Open Purchase Order report on a weekly basis.
- Investigates and resolves invoice discrepancies and related issues.
- Processes employee expense reports in accordance with company policy.
- Maintains organized records by filing accounts payable batches promptly.
- Manages AP inboxes to support timely invoice processing and payments.
- Communicates professionally with internal departments and external vendors to uphold invoicing standards, resolve inquiries, and foster strong working relationships.
- Trains new team members on accounts payable procedures and ERP system usage, as needed.
- Supports A/P automation initiatives and ensures desktop procedures are current and accurate.
- Participates in meetings as requested.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support department goals.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Excellent English (this role works primarily in English)
- 4-5 years’ accounts payable experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a large ERP accounts payable environment, preferably with SAP
- Experience with US-based company

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to be detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to resolve issues encountered during the full cycle accounts payable process.
- Possesses accurate data entry, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate a personal computer keyboard and 10-key calculator.
- Ability to communicate verbally in a clear and professional manner.
- Ability to be able and willing to work overtime as needed to support departmental goals.

Pay: $1,000,000 - $1,500,000 per month
