Credit Manager Protiviti

LOCATION

The Credit Manager is responsible for the collection process on all assigned accounts, and the resolution and collections of old receivables. The Credit Manager resolves billing and credit disputes, interfaces with customers and Protiviti Management, collaborates with other internal work units or team members, determines a strategy for successful collections, and identifies trends and training opportunities for the Field.

Specific job duties
- Manages a geographic portfolio of collection accounts and pursues resolution to problems with a high sense of urgency. Guided by the follow-up action items list in iTRAC, produces high volume of daily customer contacts and collections actions.
- Ensures work is done correctly and completed per productivity metrics and overall departmental and individual goals. Maintains age of actions per the SOX Audit Guidelines.
- Document all collection activity in ERP system (ITRAC)
- Communicates with Protiviti customers and field management to address collection issues, billing disputes, and responds to inquiries
- Has exceptional verbal, written and phone communication skills. Has ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Possesses solid collections and negotiation skills required to promote credibility and a positive reputation with our customers and field partners
- Handles special projects and assignments as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree or college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred.
- 2+ years credit and collections background experience with a bachelor’s degree.
4+ years qualifying experience without a degree.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
- Experience with or aptitude to learn ERP system.
- Knowledge of 10 key and basic math.
