Join a team of cloud experts focused on uncovering and articulating advantages for AWS Customers
As a Cloud Intelligence BDM - Field, you will be a strategic partner to the AWS field sales team, aligned to the LATAM field sales organization. You will help customers understand why AWS is the best cloud partner for their business. You will teach and evangelize differentiation concepts with AWS field sales teams, customers, and with cross-functional marketing, enablement, and product teams. As a strategic partner to sales and external customers, you will identify emerging signals and best practices, to serve the broader organization.
We are looking for experience in one or more of the following: market or competitive intelligence, business value engineering, sales enablement, and customer-facing technology sales experience. The ability to successfully differentiate cloud services in competitive market segments is key.
Key job responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Be the go-to resource for the LATAM sales segment and sales leadership
- Leverage excellent communication skills to articulate the business value of AWS value propositions, working backwards from our customers strategic objectives.
- Demonstrate the ability to earn trust with and influence C-level executives in customer organizations and within AWS.
- Support, coach, and develop large deal closing capability. Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals.
- Develop and share cloud adoption trends and blockers across the cloud ecosystem
- Enable and upskill field teams through development of field-friendly content, and delivery of trainings
- Track signals and identify opportunities, in order to provide Cloud Intelligence with insight to improve offerings
- Influence internal stakeholders on market realities, with the objective to further differentiate AWS’s value
Preferred Qualifications: experience managing/supporting large, complex deals in the IT space 3+ years sales or pre-sales experience with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure), or cloud-native SaaS solutions (Snowflake, Databricks, CrowdStrike, etc). Technical Certifications (AWS and other cloud platforms) 3+ years experience developing content and solution selling to scale across thousands of stakeholders (sales forces, partners, or customers)
