We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our Ethicon business in Chile. You will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies of business plans to meet future needs and expectations. Responsibilities include development of short-term tactical sales and Brand/Product Management marketing plans, and contributes to longer-term tactical plans. Ensures brand integrity by leading efforts across multiple functions, channels and international regions to protect our brands from any attack and/or activities which may harm our patients and business partners.
This position is located in Santiago - Chile - LATAM and requires up to 25% travel.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Implements tactical plan by providing appropriate promotional materials.
- Works across all elements of the marketing mix and uses appropriate channels of communication.
- Monitors and controls budget to access promotional effectiveness.
- Works productively with external agencies and cross functional groups within the organization.
- Ensures completion of market analysis and monitors competitive activity.
- Develops new concepts and products; portfolio management and prioritization of new opportunities through financial modeling and gap analysis.
- Builds strong network with key opinion leaders and monitors industry developments impacting business.
- Develops innovative marketing programs based on brand/product strategies and implements through staff.
- Oversees performance improvement plans and reviews, promotions, salary recommendations, hiring and terminations.
- Coaches, develops and inspires staff.

Qualifications:
Level of education: Postgraduate
Advanced/Fluency in English
Fluency in Spanish
Experience Required:
Previous experience in strategic marketing positions
Experience in people management - is desirable
At least 8 years of experience - in the healthcare sector is desirable
Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities.
Must possess demonstrated people management experience with excellent leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically. Can operate in two worlds — big picture orientation with attention to detail. Interpersonal flexibility to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel.
Builds effective teams that work well across functions and groups. Advanced communication and presentation skills required.
