YOUR ROLE*
- Our University Partnership Development Associate is responsible for influencing & executing our global business development strategy. In this role, you will identify, contact, and develop relationships with higher education institutions in an assigned region or segment, with the goal of converting them into partners who enthusiastically promote their students' participation in our internship programs, and primarily the remote program. It is not exactly a sales role, but rather a relationship development role which requires some sales skills (such as clear communication, attentive listening, and organized followup) in order to demonstrate the value of our programs for universities and students. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about international education and career development, and who has the desire to thrive in a growing business development team._

Possible Locations: Remote

**YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Quickly develop a strong understanding of our company, our teams, our programs, and what we offer to students and institutions
- Execute business development among higher education institutions in an assigned region or segment
- Execute all initial communication with prospective partners
- Listen closely to what partners & prospects say, and respond to their needs and questions effectively
- Provide feedback and suggestions to management, to help improve strategy and execution
- Maintain an organized, consistent rhythm of followup with prospects
- Manage all prospects & communications in our CRM (Salesforce)
- Create well-written and attractively designed business development materials and communications
- Onboarding of new partners and ensure smooth handover to partnership managers
- Possibly represent us at occasional events, such as virtual events, campus visits, or conferences

YOUR SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS*
- Native or equivalent fluency in English is a necessity. Ability to speak other global languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with the higher education landscape in the USA, UK, or Australia, preferably from having lived or studied in one of these countries.
- A bachelor's degree OR at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Sales skills such as listening, speaking/presentation, clear writing, attention to detail, and organized followup
- A dynamic and goal-driven outlook
- Experience using Salesforce CRM, or willingness to jump in & learn
