Cad Drafting Technician

**Overview**:

- Lay out drawings sheets and drawing sets.
- Prepare design and construction drawings, base maps, figures, renderings and other graphics for projects using commercial software and internal protocols and client standards.
- Perform tasks such as digitizing, copying and scanning of drawings, prints and maps.
- Assist a diverse team of international engineers and scientist with all phases of projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 5-10 Years Autocad experience.
- Extensive experience drafting concrete and structural steel details.
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3d that includes the development of horizontal and vertical alignments, grading, profiles, sections, quantities using surface comparisons.
- Experience in MicroStation.
- Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- Bonus qualifications: experience drafting marine structures (piers, wharfs, ferry terminals, etc.).
- Bonus qualifications: experience in BIM Modelling, Revit, Rhino, QGIS, Cadd Standards.
