**Position Description**

Centuria Inc. is seeking a Senior Information Technology Project Manager responsible for ensuring the successful completion of NASA and Kennedy Space Center project engagements in accordance with the ITSSIII Statement of Work, budget, customer expectations and best practices. These engagements typically involve multi-year delivery of Information Technology Services that include System integration for Imagery, Data Transport Systems and Distribution, Specialized Voice Systems NASA documentation, and configuration management administration.
**Essential Job Functions**:
- Lead a cross functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines and schedules
- Identify and resolve project issues
- Prepare project status reports
- Coordination of change requests and specific documentation utilized by customer
- Use technology to ensure all parties are informed on schedule and budget
- Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system
- Lead team in meeting client expectations and project deliverables
- Conduct post-project evaluation
- Participate in Senior Management briefings
- Provide budget and FY forecasting analysis and recommendations
- Develop Project Management Office procedures and workflows
- Maintain compliance with recommended NASA Project Management Procedures and Documentation
**Qualifications for Sr. IT Project Manager**
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Project Management or Information Technology field, desired
- PMP certification a plus, desirable
- Familiarity with NASA Technical Review Process
- Familiarity with NASA Procedural Requirement (NPR) 7120.8 for program and project management
- Proven experience managing a teams
- Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project and Visio
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working within Aerospace environment, KSC or Government arena
- Demonstrated understanding of IT Project Management processes, strategies and methods
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines to assist the team
- Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and oversight of diverse teams
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Pass and maintain a background check
