**Date Posted**: Jul 18 2025 00:00 McCoy Construction & Forestry, a John Deere dealership group with 25 locations across the Midwest and East South Central Regions, has an opening for a APEX Technology Support Engineer. Our Technology Support Engineer is responsible for the after-sale performance and technical support of all SmartGradeTM and integrated grade control equipped machines. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not in order of priority)**: - Support construction sites for automated machine control and construction layout - Support, diagnose and repair SmartGradeTM and related grade control issues. - Communicate effectively with John Deere, General Manager and Territory Managers in your respective area to promote, demo train and sell SmartGradeTM machines. - Complete & maintain all OEM and government certifications expected or required. - Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. **Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred**: - Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Technology, Marketing discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred. - Proven track record using Topcon Machine Control in construction projects. - Experience in construction layout utilizing GNSS or Robotic Total Stations, including the interpretation of site blueprints and the implementation of construction workflows." - Familiarity with Topcon, Trimble, and/or Lecia technologies - Passion for technology and heavy equipment, with a drive to learn and stay current on industry advancements. - Strong problem solving and analytical skills. - Demonstrated ability to effectively train individuals and small groups on technical concepts and procedures. - Willingness to travel within assigned territory (Up to 75%) AOR.Owensboro, Evansville, Paducah, Cape Girardeau. **Benefits**: - $65,000 Base wage + commission.
