Citric Sheep is looking for our next AI Software Engineer to join the flock. You'll build real-world AI systems using LLMs, traditional ML/AI, computer vision and Python — across multiple high-impact projects for global clients.

What You'll Do

You'll work with a 100% remote team and own the full lifecycle of AI solutions: from idea to production and beyond. In this role you will:

  • Design & build scalable software that powers our AI applications
  • Implement models & algorithms (LLMs, ML, CV) that turn data into real business value
  • Validate & optimise models to ensure robustness, accuracy and reliability
  • Build data pipelines and ETL processes that keep our AI systems running smoothly
  • Ship clean code that is maintainable, testable and easy for others to extend

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional Python software development
  • Professional level English
  • Experience working in a collaborative dev environment (GitHub, project management tools, time logging, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs / ML / AI
  • Software architecture design skills
  • Experience with: PyTorch / TensorFlow / Keras / Pandas / Jupyter
  • SQL / NoSQL / vector databases
  • Unit testing and testable software design
  • Experience with PyCharm / Cursor
  • Knowledge of cloud environments
  • CI/CD and containerised deployments
