Quality Assurance Manager

vArea of Responsibility :
Implementing QA system at site.
Study of specifications of items of work.
Coordinate for approval of source approval of sand and coarse aggregates.
Checking quality of cement, sand and coarse aggregate as per the decided frequency.
Review of Manufacturer's Test Certificate (MTC) of cement and reinforcement.
Monitoring day–to–day activities pertaining to quality in consultation with Site-in-charge and Client /Consultants.
Sample collection of various materials and concrete cubes/cylinders as per FQP.
To check workmanship.
To ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed in execution of various activities.
To coordinate with approved laboratories for testing of cement, sand, coarse aggregate and reinforcement steel.
Ensure casting of concrete cubes/cylinders as per FQP and relevant codes.
Testing of concrete cubes/cylinders if Compression Test Machine (CTM) is available at site.
To coordinate with approved laboratories for testing of concrete cubes/cylinders if CTM is not available at site.
Maintaining CTM in conforming condition, if available at site.
To impart training and/or co-ordinate for training on technical and functional subjects.
To prepare quality reports and to send them at decided frequency to Cluster coordinator and other designated personnel.
To escalate quality issue to project manager and Cluster QA coordinator

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Total 10 Years, and minimum of 5years of experience in Quality function
Must have worked for Transmission line / Substation projects.
Communication: Excellent in English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
