Job Overview

The Technical Product Assistant supports the Product Manager in the daily work of requirements analysis, product planning, R&D collaboration, and project advancement for technical products. Acting as a bridge between product, technology, and business, the Assistant helps ensure that product requirements are accurately understood and efficiently implemented. This position is suitable for candidates who wish to develop towards a Product Manager/Technical Product Manager career path.

Main Responsibilities

I. Product Requirements and Documentation Support

Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing product requirements (from business, customers, and the technical team);

Assist in writing and maintaining Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), user stories, and feature descriptions;

Assist in streamlining product functional logic, flowcharts, and prototypes;

Maintain the product requirements pool and version iteration records.

II. R&D Collaboration and Project Progression

Assist in communicating detailed requirements with the R&D, testing, and design teams;

Follow up on product development progress and ensure tasks are executed according to plan;

Assist in organizing requirement reviews, iteration meetings, stand-up meetings, and retrospective meetings;

Assist in testing and acceptance, and track defect fixes.

III. Data and Analysis Support

Assist in collecting and organizing product-related data and user feedback;

Support basic data analysis and evaluate product feature usage;

Participate in product effectiveness evaluation and provide improvement suggestions;

Maintain product metrics and version release notes.

IV. Product Operation and Support

Assist in pre- and post-launch preparations (documentation, training materials, FAQs);

Support internal teams' understanding and use of product features;

Tracking user issues and feedback, and promoting issue closure;

Assist in product operation-related work.

V. Cross-Team Communication and Coordination

Act as a communication support role between the product and technology teams;

Assist in coordinating product-related matters to ensure information synchronization;

Follow up on meeting resolutions and action items.

Job Requirements

Education Background

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience

0-2 years of experience as a product assistant, technical support, or in software-related fields;

Excellent fresh graduates will be considered.

Technical and Product Skills

Understanding of software development processes (Agile/Scrum);

Basic technical understanding (e.g., API, database, system architecture fundamentals);

Familiarity with common product tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Axure, Figma, Notion, etc.) is preferred;

Ability to read basic technical documentation.

Personal Qualities

Clear logic and ability to analyze requirements;

Excellent communication skills and cross-team collaboration awareness;

Strong learning ability and passion for technology and products;

Detail-oriented and strong execution skills.
