Civil Engineer

Crewit Resourcing Group - Ireland (On-site) - Professional English required

We are seeking a
highly skilled Civil Engineer / Quantity Surveyor
with a minimum of
5 years of experience
in quantity surveying and civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in
residential, commercial, and road infrastructure projects
, with a strong command of
English
for communication in international and multicultural environments.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for estimating project costs, preparing bills of quantities, monitoring budgets, and collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also contribute to tender preparation, contract administration, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate
    quantity take-offs
    and detailed
    bills of quantities
    for civil engineering projects (residential, commercial, and roads).
  • Assist in
    budgeting, cost estimation, and financial planning
    for construction projects.
  • Monitor
    project costs
    and provide regular reporting to project managers and clients.
  • Collaborate with
    design, engineering, and construction teams
    to verify quantities and materials.
  • Review
    tender documents, technical specifications, and contracts
    .
  • Conduct site visits for measurement verification and progress monitoring.
  • Implement
    cost control strategies
    and value engineering solutions.
  • Maintain and update
    project documentation
    and records.
  • Assist in
    risk assessment
    related to project costs and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with
    local regulations, standards, and best practices
    .

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Civil Engineering
    (Ingeniería Civil).
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    in
    quantity surveying / cost management
    .
  • Proven experience in
    residential, commercial, and road projects
    .
  • Fluent in
    English
    (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, and quantity surveying software
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    construction methods, materials, and contracts
    .
