Position Summary

Vanzbon Group is seeking a 
Local Operations & Compliance Executive
 to support on-the-ground delivery in Chile.

The role focuses on company registration, coordination with public authorities, preparation and submission of documentation, and basic market-entry and compliance support for international clients establishing operations in Chile.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organised, and comfortable engaging directly with government offices and service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support company incorporation, amendments, and related registrations with the relevant commercial registries and online company systems.
  • Coordinate with tax authorities such as 
    Servicio de Impuestos Internos (SII)
     for 
    RUT registration, tax start-of-activities, and basic tax-related procedures
    .
  • Assist with documentation and processes for 
    municipal business licences (patente municipal)
     and other local operational permits where required.
  • Prepare, organise, and submit application files; track timelines and follow up on pending cases with authorities and service centres.
  • Clarify procedural steps, required documentation, and applicable fees with government offices, notaries, and other intermediaries.
  • Support confirmation of basic market-entry and compliance pathways for foreign-invested projects and summarise key requirements for internal teams.
  • Maintain structured digital records of applications, approvals, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Assist with practical arrangements related to corporate setup, such as notary coordination, translations, certifications, and document legalisation.
  • Provide clear status updates and written reports to regional and HQ teams in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience
     in corporate administration, government liaison, corporate services, or similar operational roles.
  • Familiarity with 
    local company registration, SII/RUT procedures, and municipal licensing
     is highly valued.
  • Exposure to basic finance or tax topics (e.g. invoices, 
    IVA
    , income tax concepts) is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in 
    Spanish
     and working proficiency in 
    English
     for communication with regional and HQ teams.
  • Legally eligible to work in Chile.

  • Practical and execution-focused; willing to visit offices and clarify procedures directly when needed.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and reliability in managing tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple files in parallel while keeping documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Clear written communication and confidence using online portals and office productivity tools.
  • Professional attitude, discretion, and a service-minded approach.
