Job Summary
In this position the candidate will be required to have knowledge of 2D / 3D CAD design tools, preferably MicroStation & S3D. As a PD&P Jr designer you will assists in the 3D modeling of piping and equipment layout, under the supervision of experienced PD&P designers and the generation 2D drawings with minimal guidance from others.Also you will be required to prepare bulk material quantity takeoffs for materials applicable to the PD&P discipline, compile, maintain, job drawing files, records, and drawing controls, as instructed.

Major Responsibilities

• Having sound knowledge of 3D modeling techniques Preferably SP3D.
• Carrying out layout engineering (positioning of equipment, pipe routings), ensuring that the Layout Rules are correctly followed.
• Preparing of General Arrangements and piping isometrics drawings from 3Dmodel.
• Developing or modifying 3D models based on rough sketches, marked-up copies and/or detailed verbal instructions.
• Performing minor computations such as material quantity estimate, dimensional checks, as assigned.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Requires Technical degree related to Industrial Design, and at least 5+ years of relevant experience.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Hands on experience using a S3D layout / Piping design platform
• Experience using a 3D isometric & 2D drawing extraction software.
• Experience using 3D piping / layout modelling tools is mandatory for this position.
• Experience using 3D/2D drafting tools.
• Intermediate English level (desirable).
