What we'll need you to bring
Diploma/SQA National Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalent to enable registration as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Registered pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
Undertake revalidation required by General Pharmaceutical Council and maintain a portfolio of personal and professional development.
It would be great if you also have
National certificate in pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent
SVQ3
Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council
Continuing professional development as detailed by the General Pharmaceutical Council
Carry out training on aseptic and cytotoxic drug reconstruction/manipulations
Experience in dispensing discharge, OPD and in-patient prescriptions
Experience in providing a ward or department stock top up
Understanding of hospital pharmacy services
Computer skills
Keyboard skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to organise and prioritise work
Team player

This role will be based in Pharmacy within University Hospital Hairmyres
