Business Development Manager

Support the Business Development area in local business intelligence and implementation of local business strategies and business plans for new market opportunities and white spots aligned to identified market needs and growth areas.

This position reports to

Service Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Contributes to strategy definition and execution through the analysis and identification of new markets, segments, and/or solutions.
- Develops good understanding of respective local markets, competitive environments, and ABB position.
- Works with local Business Development department on identification and prioritization of new business opportunities in line with global strategic priorities, based on good understanding of local situation and global business strategies.
- Collaborates with all related internal contacts to ensure alignment, efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of the respective local business strategy.
- Supports realization of prioritized opportunities.
- Supports the management of the local unit from the definition and implementation of growth strategies.
- Ensure understanding of the market and competitors.
- Manage and identify business opportunities in line with the global strategy.

Your background
- 7 years of experience as a Business Development specialist, manager or similar.
- Knowledge of the industry and business strategies in the service portfolio.
- Desirable knowledge of motors and/or drives.
- 4 years of experience leading teams.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- A Bachelor´s degree in engineering careers (Industrial - Mechanical - Electrical)
- Advanced English level is required.
- Availability to travel.
