As a Sales Engineer at Fluence, you will play a critical role in the sales process for large-scale energy storage projects.

This role requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

  1. You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of Fluence's energy storage technology platforms.
  2. You will provide technical support and guidance to sales teams to drive successful sales outcomes.
  3. You will review and negotiate technical specifications for energy storage core and BOP scope.
  4. You will develop accurate cost estimates and lead technical aspects of contract negotiations.
  5. You will contribute to the development of sales tools and support materials to enhance sales performance.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical Preferred)
  • Significant experience in energy storage, solar, or other power generation, with a focus on grid-scale energy storage
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Proven experience with contract negotiations and key contract areas
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in English (professional level communication skills required)
