Your Key Responsibilities

  • You will oversee the financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and contributing to process improvement.
  • You will lead our controlling division, taking on leadership tasks and streamlining finance processes.
  • You will work closely with colleagues in our operations and administration to continuously improve financial handling processes.
  • You will coordinate the month-end closing in collaboration with different stakeholders of the Business Unit Air NL.
  • You will be a sparring partner for management, providing financial insights and recommendations.
  • You will manage and monitor cost control and operational accounting.
  • You will analyze the financial result against the established budget and draw up plans to improve the financial result and monitor progress.
  • You will develop and prepare periodic reports on operational volumes and activities, performance, KPIs, and quality, and actively come up with proposals for improvement.

Your Profile

  • You have completed a university education in the direction of business economics/accountancy or similar.
  • You have proven experience as a (junior) operational controller, preferably within logistics or transport industry.
  • You have first experience in leading a team.
  • You have a great sense of responsibility, integrity, and you thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English language both in word and writing.
