About Risk and Quant Solutions (RQS)

Risk and Quant is one of the fastest-growing practices at Evalueserve. As an RQS team member, you'll address large financial needs with proven solutions, solving banking challenges and improving decision-making with award-winning results.

Job Description

As a Quantitative Risk Model Developer, you will oversee model development, coding, implementation, maintenance, and validation, adhering to academic and industry best practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing ongoing model maintenance and quarterly monitoring, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Performing ad hoc analyses of business situations, data issues, and problems, researching new technologies for risk mitigation.
  • Partnering with IT to create/improve structured data, performing daily data maintenance and management, and consulting on best practices.
  • Providing high-quality analysis results in acceptable formats for management, peer, and audit reviews.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation of end-to-end processes, highlighting key data touchpoints and critical milestones.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Mathematical Science, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or Econometrics.
  • 3+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Capital Markets, or Market Risk model development or validation.
  • Proficiency in languages like Python, R, SQL, or SAS for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Strong MS Office skills and ability to conduct data analysis, derive valuable insights, and support decision-making.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills, with a proven ability to present model results to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, with strong problem-solving and independent motivation.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. We also offer a dynamic, growth-oriented culture with flexible work-life balance, diverse teams, and equal opportunities for professional growth.
