Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to oversee the ICSS vendor for a major project in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering Development: Ensure access to relevant documentation and oversee system development to guarantee alignment with project specifications.
  • Vendor Coordination: Manage technical and operational interactions with the ICSS vendor, monitor delivery schedule, and identify potential roadblocks.
  • Solution Validation: Plan, oversee, and track validation milestones, ensuring the solution meets functional, safety, and performance requirements.
  • Site Preparation: Proactively plan site shutdowns for implementing the ICSS solution with minimal disruption.
  • Training: Identify training needs and define, schedule, and oversee delivery of required training sessions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze project timeline to identify critical paths and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Industrial Electronics, or Industrial Computing.
  • Minimum 5 years in control systems engineering, preferably in FPSO or offshore environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with Schneider Foxboro DCS and Triconex SIS is essential.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, SPIE offers competitive benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
