The dynamic team seeks a highly skilled Chief Engineer to lead technical operations on the purpose-built support vessel, Antarctic Provider. This role entails overseeing engine department management, project execution, and equipment maintenance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engine department, providing guidance and support to achieve project objectives.
  • Oversight of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and repair, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaboration with other departments to support company objectives.
  • Develop strategies to improve operational performance and reduce costs.
  • Ensure safety regulation compliance and promote a culture of safety within the engine department.

Your Profile:

  • Engine Officer Class 1, CoCM1 certification.
  • Medical Certificate.
  • Safety Course for officers.
  • At least 5 years of experience as Chief Engineer.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Location: Antarctica

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
