We are seeking a highly skilled Master Maritime Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team on our purpose-built support vessel, the "Antarctic Provider". This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead technical operations and drive success in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all technical operations within the organization, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Lead the engine department, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Manage projects, design, development, and implementation of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support company objectives and initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to improve operational performance and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the engine department.
Requirements
  • Engine Officer Class 1, CoCM1 certification.
  • Medical Certificate.
  • Safety Course for officer.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Location and Travel

Vessel/Antarctica. Crew changes are normally arranged in Montevideo, Punta Arenas, and Puerto Williams. Rotation is approximately 8 weeks on and off but may deviate slightly due to operation.

The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
