We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team as a Faculty Member - AI and Psychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Initiating and leading research activities.
  • Supervising PhD candidates.
  • Participating in teaching at all levels.
  • Carrying out administrative duties.

The position involves contributing to the development of a teaching profile covering topics such as cognitive psychology or neuroscience, statistical and computational methods, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A PhD or an equivalent academic qualification in psychology (or a related field).
  • A strong track record of publications in internationally acknowledged channels.
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.

Additional desirable qualifications include experience with acquiring external research funds, well-established international collaborations, and strong teaching and supervision abilities.
