This position reports to the Regional Product Group Manager and is responsible for supporting the deployment of the quality strategy for the local ELDS division, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams. The goal is to achieve and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations.
The role involves assisting the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. This includes collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach targets for the organizational unit and aiming for world-class performance.
The work model for this role is Hybrid, allowing for flexibility and adaptability. The main stakeholders will be end users, the Engineering team, Project Managers, Quality and Operations Managers, as well as suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Creation, monitoring, and preparation of quality documents
- Involvement and leadership in quality matters for Project Managers, contributing to decision-making
- Detection of supplier quality events and leadership of quality matters with the supplier
- Active participation in meetings with clients
- Supporting local teams to ensure ABB, customer, and stakeholder requirements are met for zero defect solutions
- Evaluating compliance with the defined system, ensuring processes and procedures are followed correctly
- Using quality data analysis to identify risks, failures, and non-conformities, and taking corrective and preventive measures
- Maintaining and supporting the quality management system of the local unit, collaborating with local functions to ensure correct execution and management of processes
- Supporting the resolution of client cases through root cause analysis and implementation of preventive and corrective actions
