Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to design, define, and quote technical solutions for projects of varying complexity. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for interpreting customer needs and requirements, transforming them into integrated engineering solutions that strengthen our long-term relationships with them. You will also lead small to medium-sized projects and manage the Process section in large-scale projects, acting as a Process Project Leader and coordinating the work of other engineers.
As the primary process responsible, you will ensure that all technical design reviews meet the established deadlines and quality standards. In collaboration with the project manager, you will control the costs and schedule of engineering process tasks and ensure the timely delivery of project results. You may be required to lead activities at customer sites, including installation, commissioning, validation of performance, and delivery of necessary technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute project investment quotation processes;
- Develop and apply technical solutions;
- Collaborate in the development and review of reusable solutions;
- Develop mass balance calculations and production time planning for equipment;
- Create and develop flow diagrams (P&ID) and layouts in the food industry;
- Perform pipe calculations and component selection for the food industry (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, etc.);
- Lead technical design reviews for projects in collaboration with multifunctional teams;
- Provide support for technical problems and issue resolution, including root cause analysis following the Problem Solving Methodology (PSM);
- Participate in technical discussions with customers or final suppliers;
- Act as a facilitator between counterparts or other competencies;
- Act as a mentor/trainer for other engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or related field;
- At least 5 years of experience in Project Engineering, project implementation, and technical project management;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Project;
- Advanced English (essential);
- Availability for travel up to 30% of the time;
- Strong communication, planning, and leadership skills, with the ability to consistently resolve problems.
