About the Role

As Uber Eats continues to evolve, our Catalog system has become a critical component in making it easy for customers to shop and have confidence in their purchases. The Catalog Integration team is responsible for onboarding and managing thousands of merchants that rely on integrations to manage their selection. We have a team of integration engineers that partner closely with merchants to configure and manage each integration, relying on tooling and processes to efficiently maintain these integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the vision and strategy for seamless and efficient integration of merchant partners and maintain high reliability.
  • Develop strategies to increase efficiency for integration engineering teams by streamlining tooling and automating tasks.
  • Build tooling to monitor and manage catalog integrations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering successful and innovative products.
  • Technical savviness, demonstrated through a computer science undergraduate degree, hands-on software engineering experience, or experience building complex software products side by side with engineers.
  • Attention to detail and customer obsession, with the ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant solutions.
  • Finger-tippiness with data, with the ability to leverage data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
  • Grittiness, with a willingness to roll up sleeves and tackle hands-on tasks.
  • A high bar across the board, from personal contributions to working with others, and a true passion for Uber's mission and products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • E-commerce, grocery, and/or retail catalog and/or inventory management experience.
  • B2B experience, with a focus on building products for large businesses and working directly with their business and tech teams.
  • Internal engineering or technical tooling and processes experience.
