Strategic Operational Readiness Manager for Large Capital Projects

The purpose of this role is to lead the development and execution of an operational strategy and management plan for large capital projects. As a key member of the program team, you will be responsible for defining the operational readiness scope and developing standards, processes, and plans to ensure seamless project delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and maintenance of operational readiness strategies and plans for large capital projects.
- Ensure the effective management of change for the complete scope of operational readiness and transition to operations.
- Develop and execute a capital optimization program to identify improvement initiatives and increase capital efficiency and productivity within the operational readiness scope of the project.
- Provide operational readiness and business readiness expertise to the project team, coordinating resources for the development of operational readiness deliverables.
- Act as a single point of contact for the project during early study phases for all operational readiness deliverables and inputs.
- Elaborate and manage operational readiness budgets and schedules for both study and execution phases.
- Responsible for ramp-up and stabilization readiness from planning to execution, including identification and execution phases.
- Manage risks and implement controls related to operational readiness scope and key value drivers.
- Coordinate the execution of business readiness methodologies, strategies, and plans in accordance with program/project systems and standards.
- Support and conduct data-analytics on all aspects of operational readiness execution, optimization, and improvement projects.
About You
- Metallurgic, Chemical, or Mechanical Civil Engineering degree required.
- Over 20 years of plant process and operational experience preferred.
- Process mining experience in development, concentrate, and hydrometallurgy large & mega projects in different stages (identification, selection, definition, and execution) preferred.
- Copper and Molybdenum experience with Concentrators and Hydrometallurgy preferred.
- Experience with asset hierarchies' establishment and maintenance planning systems, handling standard work instructions, processes, and procedures development and training within green and brownfields plants preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish and intermediate to advanced English level required.
