Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, maintain, and validate various Credit Risk, Capital Markets, and Market Risk models.
- Manage ongoing maintenance and quarterly monitoring of active models.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses of business situations, data issues, and problems.
- Partner with IT to create/improve and maintain structured data.
- Provide high-quality results of analyses in graphs, charts, and tables.
- Create comprehensive documentation of end-to-end processes.
- Utilize programming skills in Python, R, SQL, or SAS for data and model management.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively.
- Ensure security and confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Mathematical Science, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Econometrics, or other relevant degree.
- Proven experience (3+ years) within a Credit Risk, Capital Markets, or Market Risk model development or validation team.
- Proficiency in pertinent languages, such as Python, R, SQL, or SAS for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
- Ability to conduct data analysis, derive valuable insights, and support decision-making.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills, with a proven ability to present model results to a non-technical audience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Independently motivated, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving ability.
