We are seeking a Procurement and Contract Negotiation Expert to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts with suppliers, developing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery, high-quality products, and competitive pricing.
Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategic sourcing plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, and analyzing data to inform procurement decisions.
Additionally, you will manage the RFP process, gathering suppliers' information, and analyzing their competences. You will also conduct all SCM activities for goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring the global supplier relationship management platform is updated and qualified accordingly.
As a Procurement and Contract Negotiation Expert, you will work closely with other functions to initiate, promote, and support projects that bring value in terms of total cost of ownership, risk mitigation, quality, cash, lead time, and material availability.
You will live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.
About You- Broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through work experience of +4 years.
- Experience with the SAP Material Module (MM) is a plus, but not mandatory.
- The technical background or an interest in technical topics will be considered an additional strength.
- Fluent knowledge of English (C1).
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
