We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Whatnot. As a remote co-located sales leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a sales team that delivers on revenue targets.

About the Role

The Sales Manager will craft and implement strategic sales plans, coach and mentor team members, and work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to align efforts. This role requires adaptability, creativity, and strong leadership presence in a fast-paced environment.

  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing sales team
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that drives revenue growth, expands our seller base, and enhances customer acquisition across multiple categories
  • Set clear performance goals, analyze sales metrics, and prepare regular reports to inform leadership on team performance and emerging trends
  • Work closely with the marketing and product teams to create a cohesive strategy for customer acquisition, product launches, and feedback-driven product development

What You Will Need

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A history of exceeding sales goals in a high-volume outbound sales environment
  • Outstanding leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Experience with CRM systems and advanced sales analytics tools for tracking performance and creating reports
  • Expertise in sales automation tools to streamline workflows and improve team efficiency

In addition, a background in sales leadership at a high-growth startup or marketplace environment would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $165,000/year to $180,000/year + benefits + equity. Our benefits package includes flexible time off policy, health insurance options, work from home support, care benefits, retirement plan, and parental leave.
