Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SDG policy specialist to join our team in the United Nations Development System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide substantive advice on innovative economic and SDG policies to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda.
  • Coordinate the development of new generation of SDG programmes, including guiding the development and implementation of the UN Cooperation Framework.
  • Plan and direct SDG knowledge generation and management, including planning and facilitating communities of practice and knowledge networks.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights through data visualization methods.

Requirements:

  • An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in economics, development studies, public policy, or public finance is required.
  • A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in sustainable development policy, economic research, and analysis is required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
