We are seeking a highly skilled Civil or Mining Engineer with expertise in Geotechnics, Tailings, and Hydraulics to join our Earth and Infrastructure team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the execution of basic and detailed engineering projects in geotechnics and tailings.
- Write technical documents, calculation notes, specifications, and study reports.
- Apply current standards and work methodologies, while continuously seeking improvement.
- Attend internal and client coordination meetings.
- Conduct field surveys and onsite studies.
- Supervise project implementation in the field, when necessary.
- Support the commissioning of tailings management systems and hydraulic structures.
- Participate in cross-functional engineering projects, from design to field supervision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians.
- Develop innovative technical solutions that contribute to the sustainability and efficiency of tailings management.
- Play an active role in continuously improving methodologies and work standards.
- Present technical developments and innovative solutions at industry conferences and technical forums, contributing to professional growth and recognition.
- University degree in Civil or Mining Engineering with a specialization in geotechnics, hydraulics, or tailings.
- At least 5 years of experience in projects related to stability analysis, monitoring, tailings management, and hydraulic design.
- Knowledge of applicable local and international standards.
- Strong technical writing skills for high-level reports.
- Experience with numerical modelling tools and software such as Python or similar.
- Availability to conduct site visits, when required.
