About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Collections Expert to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the timely collection of open accounts receivable balances, resolution of disputed items, and preparation of management reports including budgeting and forecasting for billing and receivables.

The Work You'll Do:
  • Contact customers to ensure payment is made timely on accounts, including daily collection calls.
  • Develop positive relationships while maintaining customer standards with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies for customer accounts.
  • Timely and professional responses to customer inquiries.
  • Perform required tasks independently as well as contribute as needed in a team environment.
  • Track and submit refunds for customers with credit balances.
  • Investigate and assist with resolving disputes on customer accounts.
  • Prepare reports including budgeting and forecasting for collections.
What We Need From You:
  • Accounts Receivable and Collection experience.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter.
  • Problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
