Key Responsibilities- Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products, and provide body treatments using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy.
- Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications before beginning service, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience.
- Keep up-to-date with current techniques and modalities related to your field of work, staying ahead of industry trends.
- Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes to create a relaxing atmosphere.
- Frequently check with guests to promote comfort, safety, and security throughout service.
- Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings related to the Spa.
- Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and treatment rooms throughout shifts, disposing of trash and dirty linens, and securing supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
- Monitor and stick to time schedules throughout the day, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Handle inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with Marriott International standard operating procedures.
- Maintain current skills and licensure in service areas as per regional requirements.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, completing safety training and certifications as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language, developing and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight.
