Country Programme Coordinator and Resource Mobilization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Country Programme Coordinator and Resource Mobilization Specialist to join our team in the FAO Chile Country Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of the Country Programming Framework (CPF) and promoting resource mobilization to ensure its effective delivery. This includes identifying and establishing linkages with key national counterparts, bilateral and multilateral funds, and other relevant donors/resource partners.
In this role, you will provide technical oversight and guidance on strategic aspects and decisions for the implementation of the country programme, ensuring technical quality, effective integration, and coordination in alignment with FAO's strategic framework and the CPF.
You will also monitor and review the status of programme/project implementation, identify inconsistencies and delays, and propose corrective measures to overcome operational constraints. Additionally, you will liaise and assist government authorities and local, national, and international institutions in the areas of FAO's activities in the country and represent FAO at interagency meetings as required.
Key qualifications include a university degree in agriculture, agricultural economics, forestry, fisheries, natural resources, rural development, social sciences, international relations, or any other field related to the work of the Organization, as well as 5 years of relevant experience in public and/or private sectors related to policy analysis, programming, planning, and technical cooperation in food and agriculture and/or project implementation.
