About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to serve as a City Team Leader in Santiago, Chile. This role is crucial in recruiting, developing, and leading a team to support the local church in planting churches and reaching the young professional population and university students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing team focused on accomplishing our mission.
  • Promote collaboration with other team leaders through regular participation in the LAC Team Leaders Forum.
  • Nurture trusting relationships with pastors in Santiago to ensure effective partnership.
  • Work closely with the local church to establish new churches and engage with university students and young professionals.
  • Commit to learning Spanish, embracing local culture, and adopting best practices for the ministry context.
  • Build strong relationships with both believers and unbelievers, connecting them with a local church community.
  • Evangelize and disciple young professionals and university students, fostering spiritual growth.
  • Support and disciple new believers as they deepen their walk with Jesus.
Qualifications:
  • Mature Christian with a proven history of engagement in local church communities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including pastoral, relational, and strategic abilities.
  • Experience in leading diverse teams from various backgrounds and generations.
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Bible college education or ability to undergo licensing with the EFCA.
  • Ability to develop culturally sensitive ministry strategies.
  • Familiarity with basic church-planting methodologies and a willingness to learn.
  • A deep love for people, a broken heart for the lost, and a passion for transformational discipleship.
