This position will be responsible for positioning Novartis as a trusted partner and holding key external stakeholder relationships. Delivering political intelligence and advice to relevant Novartis businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Policy Environment Management: Identify, prioritize, and drive topics that define the policy environment for business.
- Policy Document Creation: Contribute to the creation, revision, and publishing of policy documents, advocacy toolkits, and training materials.
- Strategic Objectives: Shape, represent, and advance Novartis legislative, policy, and alliance strategic objectives.
- Product Advocacy: Execute product advocacy where applicable.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Map external stakeholders and systematically engage, setting up key platforms for engagement on key policy and business priorities, working in partnership.
- Project Leadership: Lead teams on specific projects, through feasibility, planning, execution, and reporting; contribute to projects in cross-functional/cross-divisional teams.
- Legislative Analysis: Identify and analyze legislation that may affect Novartis business, as well as propose language and strategies to amend and improve legislation.
- Reporting and Compliance: Reporting of technical complaints/adverse events/special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.
- Professional Development: Complete graduation.
- Experience and Skills: +10 years of experience working in the corporate affairs area, experience in the pharmaceutical sector, strong negotiation, communication, and relationship skills.
