The purpose of this position is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, facilitate timely and insightful reporting, and guide the transactional finance team toward operational excellence. This position will also engage in accounts payable responsibilities, to include compiling, maintaining, auditing, processing, and organizing payments to TOMRA’s vendors efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include:
**Accounting Responsibilities**:

- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Verify, post, and reconcile transactions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Generate regular reports on accounts payable activities and other relevant metrics.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and tax regulations.
- Participate in financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Protect financial information confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Accounts Payable Responsibilities**:

- Review and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Submit vendor payment proposals in compliance with terms.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to inquiries.
- Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
- Ensure compliance with payment policies and procedures.
- Compile and maintain accounts payable documents and records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in English.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
